Nic leads Exelon's Environmental Health and Safety Audit Program; he is responsible to plan, coordinate and conduct EHS compliance and management system audits across the company's generation, electric and gas utilities and distributed energy services businesses. These audits are conducted to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain Exelon's ISO certification. Nic is an active member of Exelon's Safety Peer group and serves as an Industrial Safety resource across the company.

Nic has 12 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience across a variety of industry segments including: manufacturing, municipal utility (water/waste water) renewable energy (ethanol/bio –diesel), renewable energy generation (wind/ solar) and utility/ generation construction. Prior to joining Exelon, Nic spent 12 years with the US Army/ Iowa National Guard serving as an Engineer Officer holding positions of Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, Company Commander and Battalion- Detachment Commander.

Nic holds the professional designations Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST). He has a Masters Degree in Education from Graceland University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from the University of Northern Iowa.
